Meeting Minutes 2/27/25

City of Ellinger Minutes from the meeting of the City of Ellinger held on February 27th, 2025.

            Attendance:                Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn

Commissioner Kenny Stojanik

1.      Meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mikulenka at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.

2.      Pledge of Allegiance was recited to the United States Flag and to the Texas Flag.

3.      Invocation was presented by Mayor Matt Mikulenka.

4.      Public Comment.

No Public Comment

5.      Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Commissioner Weishuhn.  Motion to accept the minutes was made by Mayor Mikulenka, motion was 2nd by Commissioner Stojanik.

6.      Treasurer’s report was recited by Commissioner Stojanik. Motion to accept the report was made by Cullen Weishuhn, motion was 2nd by Commissioner Kenny Stojanik.

a)      Mayor Mikulenka made a motion for an addendum to add the cancellation of the election for May 2025 for Commissioner Weishuhn’s and Mayor Mikulenka’s positions.  Motion 2nd by Commissioner Weishuhn

b)      Approve payment to contractors for CDV23-016.

                                                              i.      Motion by Cullen Weishuhn to make payment, 2nd by Matt Mikulenka, motion carried.

c)      Review and take action on survey cost proposal.

                                                              i.      Motion by Matt Mikulenka to approve the bid from BEFCO Engineering and move forward with the survey work, 2nd by Kenny Stojanik, motion carried.

d)     Renew Approval for Municipal Maintenance Agreement with TXDOT 2025.

                                                              i.      Motion by Cullen Weishuhn to renew the Municipal Maintenance Agreement with TXDOT, 2nd by Kenny Stojanik, motion carried.

e)      Review/take action on land exchange and abandonment of easements.

                                                              i.      Cannot take action due to survey not complete.

f)       Create GLO TIGR log-in.

                                                              i.      Motion by Matt Mikulenka to create accounts for TIGR, 2nd by Cullen Weishuhn, motion carried.

g)      Renew Sam.GOV. account.

                                                              i.      Motion by Matt Mikulenka to renew Sam.GOV.account. Motion 2nd by Kenny Stojanik, motion carried.

h)      Motion by Matt Mikulenka to adjourn, 2nd by Kenny Stojanik, motion carried.
