Meeting Minutes 10/23/25

     City of Ellinger Minutes from the meeting of the City of Ellinger held on October 23, 2025.

            Attendance:                Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn

Commissioner Kenny Stojanik

            1 visitor was in attendance.

1.      Meeting was called to order by Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.

2.      Pledge of Allegiance was recited to the United States Flag and to the Texas Flag.

3.      Invocation was presented by Cullen Weishuhn

4.      Public Comment:   Hruska’s Store and Bakery presented two (2) plan options for a building expansion along with sanitary line reroutes.  It was pointed out that in both options they would like to use/encroach on a 180’X20’ portion of the City’s alley for the building expansion and reroute the sewerline.

5.      Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Cullen Weishuhn.  Motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Kenny Stojanik motion was 2^nd by Cullen Weishuhn.

6.      Treasurer’s report was recited by Kenny Stojanik. Motion to accept the report and pay all bills was made by Kenny Stojanik, motion was 2^nd by Cullen Weishuhn.

7.      Old Business:

a.       No old business.

8.      NEW Business:

a.       The city council reviewed the two force main route options (A & B) provided by  Hruska’s along with proposed 180’X20’ alley encroachment depicted on both options.  Motion was made by Commissioner Weishuhn to approve the 180’X20’ alley encroachment as long as Hruska’s agrees to the terms and provisions of an encroachment agreement yet to be drafted by the City and its legal council. The two forcemain route options will need to reviewed further before one is selected.  Motion was 2^nd by Kenny Stojanik.

b.      The city reviewed the changes for Ordinance enforcement that came into effect Sept. 1^st from the 89^th Legislature. .

c.       Commissioner Weishuhn made a motion to schedule the next meeting for November 20, 2025,  motion was 2^nd by Kenny Stojanik
