City of Ellinger Minutes from the meeting of the City of Ellinger held on October 22nd , 2026.
Attendance: Mayor Matt Mikulenka
Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn

1. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mikulenka at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.
2. Opening invocation was presented by Mayor Mikulenka
3. Motion was made by Mayor Mikulenka to open the meeting. Motion was 2nd Commissioner Weishuhn
4. Public Comment: No public Comment
5. Meeting Minutes: Meeting Minutes were presented by Cullen Weishuhn from the September 24th. meeting. Motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Mayor Mikulenka, motion was second by Cullen Weishuhn motion carried 2-0
OLD Business: No Business
NEW Business:
1. Motion to review and approve all bills was made by Mayor Mikulenka, Motion was 2nd by Commissioner Weishuhn. Motion passed 2-0
2. An update was given on TDA 2027/2028 application Mayor Mikulenka.
3. Discuss, consider and adopt resolution authorizing the submission of a Texas Community Development Block Grant program application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the 2027-2028 Community Development Fund. Mayor Mikulenka made a motion to adopt Resolution #42 for the upcoming 2027/2028 TDA Grant. Motion was 2nd by Commissioner Weishuhn. Motion passed 2-0.
4. Discuss and take action on Mowing additional Right Of Ways. Motion was made by Mayor Mikulenka to hire Hess pool and landscape to mow a few more city right-of-ways in town. Motion was 2nd by Commissioner Weishuhn.
5. The meeting schedule was reviewed for the November and December meetings due to holidays. Motions was made by Mayor Mikulenka to set the November meeting to Tuesday, November 24th and the December meeting to Tuesday, December 22nd.
6. Motion to adjourn meeting by Mayor Mikulenka , second by Commissioner Weishuhn. Motion
