City of Ellinger Minutes from the meeting of the City of Ellinger held on September 25, 2025.
Attendance: Mayor Matt Mikulenka
Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn
Commissioner Kenny Stojanik
0 visitor in attendance.
1. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mikulenka at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.
2. Pledge of Allegiance was recited to the United States Flag and to the Texas Flag.
3. Invocation was presented by Matt Mikulenka.
4. Public Comment: No Public Comment
5. Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Cullen Weishuhn. Motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Matt Mikulenka, motion was 2nd by Kenny Stojanik.
6. Treasurer’s report was recited by Kenny Stojanik. Motion to accept the report and pay all bills was made by Matt Mikulenka, motion was 2nd by Cullen Weishuhn.
7. Old Business:
a. Updates were given by Mayor Matt Mikulenka on the GLO Project. The city reviewed the projected project dates and it was noted that the environmental study will drive the schedule.
b. Discussion was held on the easement encroachment from the previous meeting. Motion was made by Matt Mikulenka for the city reach out to the landowner and have them seek approvals for the sewer line reroute from the Ellinger Sewer and Water Inc. along with TXDOT before the city takes any further action. Motion was second by Kenny Stojanik.
8. NEW Business:
a. The city reviewed the 2024-2025 city audit prepared by Greg Trlicek. Motion was made by Cullen Weishuhn to accept said audit. Motion was 2nd by Matt Mikulenka.
b. The city reviewed the 2025-2026 city budget. Motion was made by Cullen Weishuhn to accept said budget. Motion was 2nd by Kenny Stojanik.
c. Motion by Matt Mikulenka to adjourn the meeting. Motion was 2nd by Cullen Weishuhn, motion carried.
d. Next meeting Scheduled for October 23, 2025
