     City of Ellinger Minutes from the special meeting of the City of Ellinger held on February 20, 2026.

1.      Meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mikulenka at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.

2.      Public Comment:   No Public Comment

3.      NEW Business:

a.       Mayor Matt Mikulenka presented, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELLINGER, TEXAS CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 2, 2026 FOR VOTER AUTHORIZATION OF A LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX within the City AT A RATE OF 1.5%; ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CONDUCTING SUCH ELECTION; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION AND PROVIDING FOR FINDINGS OF FACT, SEVERABILITY, REPEALER, EFFECTIVE DATE AND PROPER NOTICE AND MEETING. Motion was made by Matt Mikulenka pass and accept the ordinance as read. Motion was 2^nd by Cullen Weishuhn.

b.      Motion was made by Matt Mikulenka adjourn the meeting. Motion was 2^nd by Cullen Weishuhn.
