Notice: Regular meeting of the City of Ellinger, Texas.

          In accordance with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the governing body of the City of Ellinger, Texas, will be held on May 23rd, 2024 at 6:00pm at City Hall, located at 101 W. Shumacher St., Ellinger, Texas.

 Pledge to the United States Flag.

 Opening prayer

 Public comment.  All comments are limited to 3 minutes

 Secretary report. Minutes from the previous meeting reviewed.

 Treasurers report.  Review report and take action on bills and income as needed.

 OLD Business:

1. Discuss out sourcing for street repairs.

NEW Business:

1. Open Public Hearing on Trash Ordinance.

2. Discuss and take action on Trash Ordinance.

3. Discuss possible street closures for the Ellinger C of C’s Tomato Festival.

4. Review and discuss quotes received from several local Surveying firms.

5. Discuss and take action on engineering plans from Weishuhn Engineering Inc. on the                 fire protection line project

6. Discuss and take action on contracting for tree services in the city R.O.W.

7. Discuss/consider the location and design of a City of Ellinger Welcome sign.

8. Adjournment.
