Meeting Minutes 5/22/25

     City of Ellinger Minutes from the meeting of the City of Ellinger held on May 22, 2025.

            Attendance:                Mayor Matt Mikulenka

Commissioner Cullen Weishuhn

Commissioner Kenny Stojanik

            0 citizens in attendance.

1.      Meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mikulenka at 6:00 pm at the City of Ellinger City Hall.

2.      Pledge of Allegiance was recited to the United States Flag and to the Texas Flag.

3.      Invocation was presented by Matt Mikulenka.

4.      Public Comment: No Public Comment

5.      Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Cullen Weishuhn.  Motion to accept the minutes was made by Matt Mikulenka, motion was 2nd by Kenny Stojanik.

6.      Treasurer’s report was recited by Kenny Stojanik. Motion to accept the report was made by Matt Mikulenka motion was 2nd by Cullen Weishuhn.

7.      Old Business:

a.       No old business

8.      NEW Business:

a.       Review was made on the  Financial Policies and Procedures previously approved back in 2023.

b.       Review was made on Local Procurement Policies and Procedures previously approved in 2023. Motion was made Matt Mikulenka to reapprove the policies recited in the previous two items above.  Motion was 2nd by Kenny Stojanik.

c.       Discussion was had to schedule a Public Hearing meeting for June 6th at 6 pm for Community Development Block Grant CDV23-0016. Motion was made by Cullen Weishuhn to schedule the meeting for June 6th. Motion was 2nd by Matt Mikulenka.

d.      Motion by Matt Mikulenka to adjourn the meeting.  Motion was 2nd by Cullen Weishuhn, motion carried.
